Made from old coconut shell by ultra-high temperature superheated steam activation, water washing, and followed by hydrochloric acid washing, the SS-Y03 activated carbon is specially designed for water treatment, which has highly purified and activated. The powerful meso- and micro-porous structures could effectively remove COD, residual chlorine, ozone, antibiotics, pesticides, heavy metals, and other harmful substances in water, and also quickly decolorize and eliminate odor. The water washing and acid pickling process could remove most of soluble solids and floating fines, to allow the pH of water to be stabilized quickly , and the amount of gray water is minimized.
