Made from old coconut shell by ultra-high temperature superheated steam activation, the SS-Y05 activated carbon is specially designed for gas-phase treatment, which has highly purified and huge specific surface area. The powerful meso- and micro-porous structure has strong adsorption towards formaldehyde, benzene, and other volatile organic compounds (VOC). The excellent mechanical strength makes it have extremely low friction loss. After the acid pickling process, soluble solids of carbon is greatly be reduced to prevent leaching of impurities in use conditions. This product has excellent performance in preparation of highly purified gases, such as nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, etc.
