Made from old coconut shell by ultra-high temperature superheated steam activation and followed by hydrochloric acid washing, the SS-Y01 activated carbon is specially designed for petrochemical applications, which has highly purified and has huge specific surface area. The unique meso- and micro-porous structures ensure catalyst to be evenly distributed and firmly loaded on the surface of the pores. Excellent mechanical strength makes the friction loss at an extremely low level. The acid washing process removes the soluble solids to prevent the foreign impurities to be leached into liquid products. This product could also be applied as a catalyst which carries superior performance.
